South Texas ISSA chapter is holding an all day workshop featuring Michael J. Corby. The workshop will include a regular lunch session and is $80 for non-members and $60 for members. This full day session will provide you with all the information you need to tune up your security function and even create a new one. Mr. Corby has created security organizations that are recognized as being among the best in the world. Using his experience as CIO for several large international organizations and as the creator of what has been viewed as one of the world's most influential security consulting organizations, you will be treated to his views on:

  1. The Security organization of the past, present and future
  2. Placing Security in the overall corporate organization
  3. Measuring success in Information Security
  4. Collaboration between Security and other enterprise functions
  5. Keeping Systems Security ahead of the curve
You will be given a sample security organization charter, and typical job descriptions for the most critical Information Security functions that you can take back to your office and use as starting blocks for designing and implementing your own successful organization.
